For luxury and premium brands, think of a backlink as a digital endorsement, referral or vote of confidence. Create Shareable Content

  • Publish Valuable Information: Develop high-quality, engaging content that others in your industry will want to share and link to. This could be insightful articles, stunning visuals, or exclusive insights about luxury trends.

  • Create shareable Guides: Write free guides that are valuable to customers. These are high quality and give valuable resources to your customers and build authority and trust in your brand.

This is a time consuming strategy and will not always lead to great results but worth bearing in mind.

  • Track Your Links: Use this free tool by Google to see which websites are linking to you. It’s user-friendly and provides valuable insights into your backlink profile. Visit https://search.google.com/search-console to set up your account and verify your website.

Pro Tools such as Ahrefs or Moz

  • Analyse and Improve: These tools can help you find opportunities for new backlinks and understand the quality of your existing ones. They’re designed to be intuitive even if you’re not tech-savvy. Vist https://ahrefs.com/ or https://moz.com/ to check what features they offer that can help manage your website SEO better.

 

Quick Tips for Backlinking SEO Success

  • Focus on Quality: Aim for backlinks from respected, high-traffic sites rather than many low-quality ones. This will generally be leading industry publications, newsletters, directories and trade organisations that have been around for a number of years and are relevant to your business.

  • Natural Growth: Avoid paying for links or engaging in link exchanges. Search engines can penalize this, which could harm your rankings​

  • Monitor Regularly: Keep an eye on your backlinks and look for opportunities to gain more through quality content and strategic partnerships.
